François Baccelli is a Senior Research Scientist at INRIA and a

He was elected member of the French Academy of Science. He joins

to optimize sound simulation in the game engine developed

Hubert Curien passed away February 6, 2005. During its mandate
of President of the CNES, he was appointed Chairman of the Scientific
Council of INRIA from 1980 to 1984. A close colleague of Jacques-Louis
Lions, Hubert Curien was unremitting in his support of the Institute.

to his family and honors his memory.
