Controlled Magnetic fusion is nowadays a hot topic with the launching of the
ITER machine. The design and control of Tokamaks require to solve extremely
complex numerical problems in optimal control, plasma physics or fluid
dynamics.
The aim of this summer school will be to review the main numerical
models used in the study of controlled magnetic fusion.
In addition, the school will also provide a discussion forum covering all
area of numerical modelling related to this topic.
The school will take place over 5 days and will consist of four main lectures followed by several technical sessions on more specific topics.
