Hervé Mathieu, who has been Deputy managing Director for 8 years, will leave INRIA on December 31, 2004 to become in charge of mission near the General manager of CNRS, Bernard Larrouturou. He contributed significantly to the reinforcement of the organization of the Institute and created an atmosphere of dialog between all parties. He also established constructive working relations with our supervision authorities and played a central role in the period of July 2003 to spring 2004, when INRIA was without a CEO. |
