Cooperative research initiatives are complementary funding means through which the Institute is able to express its scientific policy by granting specific supports on a national level. The idea is to rapidly promote certain subjects or to highlight certain subjects the Institute is particularly interested in, primarily by supporting and encouraging initiatives by young researchers. These initiatives have been extended to Europe since 2007-2008.
