European debate

The second Rendez-vous de l’INRIA took place on May 28 in Brussels. It gathered representatives from industry, research, the European Commission and Members of the European Parliament to debate on a highly sensitive issue: "Innovating for competitiveness in ICT: towards an EU framework for technology transfer".

FP7 - Ideas programme - ERC-2007 Starting Grants call

Two INRIA researchers, Bruno Lévy, head of the ALICE project-team, and Anne-Marie Kermarrec, head of the ASAP project-team, are listed among the 300 researchers that the ERC (European research Council) is about to finance.



European programmes


INRIA and the Framework Programmes

INRIA is involved in more than 40 selected proposals in the 7th Framework programme (FP7). In the ICT theme of the Cooperation programme, INRIA is now participating in 27 proposals.
Furthermore, INRIA is strongly implicated in the 6th Framework Programme (FP6) since it is partner in 120 European projects and is coordinating 13 projects.

Focus on a European project coordinated by INRIA

XtreemOs
The XtreemOs European project aims at developing a Linux-based Grid operating system providing a native support to virtual organisations and easying the use and management of large scale dynamic Grid infrastructures.
