The Board of Directors

INRIA is managed by a Board of Directors whose President is also INRIA's Director General, and has at his disposal:
- a board reflecting on matters relating to scientific policy: The Scientific Board;
- a commission responsible for initiating the evaluation of research teams and project-teams: The Evaluation Committee.

Board members are named or elected for a renewable three year mandate. The President of the Scientific board, the Financial Controller, the INRIA Head Accountant and the Deputy General Director attend meetings with a consultative role.
