The Scientific Board is the Institute's body responsible for reflecting
upon and making proposals on matters relating to scientific policy.
It advises the Board of Directors on the principal orientations of
the Institute's scientific policy, research programs and the annual
activity report.
The Institute's Chairman consults the Board on the creation and disbanding
of the Institute's research centres, as well as on the nomination of their
directors, their renewal or the decision the close them.
