INRIA - Direction of Communication

Our Mission

The Director of Communications' mission is

to make the Institute's scientific and technological content and results widely available and accessible, particularly to young people. She is also in charge of developing internal communication at INRIA.
to develop communication within the institute itsself.

Based at INRIA's headquarters, the Direction of Communication has a network of communication specialists who serve clients both from and outside the institute:

At INRIA: researchers and associated staff, either directly or through the management structure.
Outside INRIA: French Ministries, the European Union, the scientific community...

For its partners, the Direction ensures communication aimed at certain targeted groups :

At INRIA: researchers, technical and administrative staff.
Outside INRIA: scientists, young people, decision makers, industry representatives, general public...

According to the strategic direction of the Institute and its customer requirements, she will identify priorities and define a communication plan aimed at these external targets.

The direction works in conjunction with the persons in charge of communication in research centres .
