Eric Gautrin has been appointed as Director of Information System, Infrastructure and Computer Service on March 21, 2007.

Recruited by INRIA in 1986 as a researcher, Eric Gautrin took over as head of the computer science department at INRIA Rennes in 1993.  At the beginning of 2003, he took on the role of VISON project manager (VISON = Vers un Intranet Sécurisé et Ouvert au Nomadisme, towards a secured intranet open to nomadism). In February 2005, he was appointed coordinator of the consultation committee for IT resources, and then, in May 2006, as temporary Director of the Information System, Infrastructure and Computer Service.
