On 1 September 2007, Renaud de Vernejoul was appointed Delegate for Administration at INRIA’s Head Office.
In 1993, having successfully completed a postgraduate degree in European law, he was hired by CNRS where he took up office as a lawyer in the establishment’s head office. In 1996, he joined the CNRS Gif-sur-Yvette delegation with a view to setting up a department dedicated to group purchasing and procurement contracts. In the year 2000, his passion for scientific audio-visual media led him to take over as director of a unique CNRS department “CNRS Diffusion Vidéothèque – Photothèque”, responsible for producing and promoting the establishment’s scientific images. In 2003, he was appointed as assistant to the delegate for West and North Ile-de-France at CNRS, where he demonstrated his skills in management administration, communication and promoting research results.
