Team Presentation
The COMPLEX team considers complexity with respect to irrgularity of phenomenons and its emergence at various scales.
Research themes
Three applicative area are considered:
- complex stochastic process modeling (TCP traffic, finance),
- irregular signal processing (image analysis, biomedical signal analysis),
- complex interactions (data retrieval, e-learning),
with development of the corresponding theoretical tools :
- Darwinist evolution models in complex irregular environments,
- irregularity analysis and modeling for signals and process (multifractal approach).
International and industrial relations
The COMPLEX team has collaborations with the Yale university (USA), the St Andrews university (UK), the Monastir university (Tunisia), and contracts with Novartis-Pharma (Swiss), Paraschool (France), l'ENILIA (France) and Dassault Aviation (France).
