Project-Team Presentation

LIP joint project-team with CNRS, and ENS Lyons, located in Lyons.

COMPSYS is a common research project-team of Laboratoire de l'Informatique du Parallélisme (LIP, Lyon) and INRIA. The team is hosted in Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (ENS Lyon).

The goal of COMPSYS project-team is to develop optimisation techniques for the compilation of embedded systems (system on chip). More precisely, the team studies code transformation using high level languages in order to optimise embedded systems in terms of speed, power consumption, surface, etc.

The research projet-team focuses on adapting optimisation techniques developped for compilation/parallelism to the particular domain of embedded systems design.

Research themes

  • Quick prototyping for fpga applications.
  • Code optimisation.
  • Influence of loop transformation on memory hierarchy.
