Project-Team Presentation

Joint project-team with LABRI (CNRS, University of Bordeaux 1 and ENSEIRB) and MAB (CNRS and Bordeaux 1 and 2 Universities), located in Bordeaux.

The objective of this project is to leverage complementary scientific skills for multidisciplinary research in the field of high performance computing and numerical modeling. To achieve this goal, the project intends to analyze and efficiently solve scientific computing problems coming from complex applications that require computing power and manipulate data of the order of the teraflop.

Research themes

  • Compact multidimensional schemes
  • High performance algorithms
  • High performance implementation, visualization and steering of distributed numerical simulations by a virtual reality code.

International and industrial relations

In addition to collaborations with strongly involved exterior members, we maintain collaborations with a certain number of researchers and engineers from academic and industrial institutions.
